GOT MOBILE QUICK START GUIDE

1. OVERVIEW

GOT Mobile is a function in GOT2000 that allows you to monitor data in the GOT2000 via a web browser.


  • *1: Up to five devices can be connected simultaneously. Screens displayed with different browsers or tabs are included in the connection count.
  • *2: You can prevent simultaneous operation on the same network. For details, please see the appropriate manual.

2. GOT MOBILE SETUP

STEP 1: Create your GOT2000 project and screen.

STEP 2: Click “GOT Mobile Setting”.


STEP 3: Select “Use GOT Mobile function”.

STEP 4: You can add client connections up to 5 devices (default is “2”).


The following settings are required for the use of GOT Mobile function:
  • Ethernet setting in the GOT.
  • License registration in the GOT.
  • 4MB of the operation memory (RAM) will be used.

STEP 5: Select “GOT Mobile exclusive” in the GOT Mobile Authentication Method.

STEP 6: Check “Create an administrative operator” and create your Operator and Password.

Example Credentials:
[Operator]: Admin
[Password]: 1234

Hint: It is necessary to obtain operational authority to operate a mobile screen in which [Target for exclusive control of operational authority] is enabled. Only an administrative operator can obtain the operational authority.

3. CREATE GOT MOBILE SCREEN

  1. Double-click “New” under the Mobile Screen folder.
  2. Select the resolution or add your own by inputting X and Y coordinates.

A new GOT Mobile screen will appear with the title M-1 (where 'M' stands for GOT Mobile screen and '1' is the screen number).


After creating the GOT Mobile screen, Write the project into the GOT2000.


4. USE OF GOT MOBILE FUNCTION

Step 1: Open any web browser on a PC or tablet and input the IP address of the GOT.

* Your GOT2000 and your tablet or other devices must be connected to the same network.


Step 2: Enter the Operator and Password, then click Login.

Now, the mobile screen will appear on your device in the web browser.


5. GOT MOBILE LICENSE

If you do not have a GOT Mobile license, you can use the function for free for only 30 minutes.


To Register a License:

  1. Enter Utility mode on the GOT2000 by touching the upper left corner.
  2. Go to Ext func. set > License management.
  3. Input your GOT Mobile license number and press “Register”.
